Image of Health is celebrating 20 years of service to women. Our philosophy is to educate and empower women to make good breast health decisions based on knowledge, not fear. We have offices in Virginia, Florida, and a mobile breast lab that travels to Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, the Eastern Shore and Washington DC.
Marilyn MacClellan is the founder of Image of Health. She is a Certified Clinical Thermographer, an Advanced Thermographer, and a Thermography Instructor. Marilyn holds a Bachelor of Nuclear Engineering, a Bachelors of Professional Health Sciences and a Masters of Oriental Medicine.
Image of Health is known for its high standards. All imaging is read by Dr. Jeanne Stryker, a Board Certified Vascular/Interventional Radiologist with Fellowships in Women’s Imaging and Pediatric Imaging. Dr. Stryker was a Major in the U.S. Army and served in the Iraq War.
Marilyn MacClellan and Dr. Stryker are both founding members of the IAMT – Institute for the Advancement of Medical Thermography. They both share a passion for breast health. Marilyn underwent breast surgery as a teenager, an experience that gives her an empathetic understanding of many women’s needs, and influenced her decision to start Image of Health. Dr. Stryker lost her mother to breast cancer, and dedicates her work to her mother’s memory.
